For the first time, St Anne's Catholic School - Christchurch, Te Aratai College, and Shirley Boys' High School came together to celebrate Samoan Language Week alongside PELS, Mapusaga Aoga Amata and the Ministry of Education NZ.

It was an incredible day of culture, connection, and community! Our tamaiti and young people proudly shared their Samoan heritage through vibrant performances, delicious food, interactive activities, and fellowship, creating a memorable celebration for all involved.

It was inspiring to see students, āiga, educators, and community members come together to honour and celebrate the richness of the Samoan language and culture.
